Alcatel 3T 8 - How to Set Up Mobile Hotspot

Set up

1. Turn off Wi-Fi and Smartphone Mobile Hotspot.
2. From any home screen, swipe up, then tap Settings.
3. Tap Network & connection > Tethering & Mobile HotSpot.
4. If necessary, tap the Mobile HotSpot switch to turn on.
5. Tap Mobile HotSpot Settings > Configure Mobile HotSpot.
6. If desired, tap Network SSID to rename.
7. Tap Security to select from:
   • WPA2 PSK
   • Open
8. Enter password other devices will use to connect.
9. Tap Save. The system verifies the account.
10. When 'Mobile HotSpot is active' appears, tap Yes to learn more or tap Skip.

Turn Mobile Hotspot on / off

1. From any home screen, swipe up, then tap Settings.
2. Tap Network & connection > Tethering & Mobile HotSpot.
3. Tap the Mobile HotSpot switch to turn on or off.
